INFINITI Hands Tug of War Crown Over to Competition Subaru

The Competition Auto Group had an incredible time at the second annual Company Picnic held earlier this September! Highlights included Competition Subaru snagging the tug of war win from previous winning team Competition INFINITI, musical chairs, face painting, delicious food, an ice cream truck, getting to pet the most adorable animals, music, games for all ages, and so much more! We had such a fun time spending time with our coworkers from all of the sister stores! We are patiently looking forward to next year!

Trunk or Treat 

 Competition BMW of Smithtown, Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown, Competition INFINITI and Competition Subaru of Smithtown held their first-ever Trunk or Treat at all of our dealerships in St. James! From 4pm-7pm on Friday, October 27th, 2023, local friends and family came by our Smithtown sister-stores’ showrooms to say hello, acquire some delicious candy and celebrate Hallow’s Eve with our friendly staff and impressive vehicles! All of our employees had a wonderful time decorating our storefronts and vehicles as well as seeing everyone had such fun in their wonderfully creative costumes!

Turkeys

The Competition Auto Group’s yearly tradition of turkey giving is one that always starts off the holiday season with such excitement! Every year, the Buzzetta family gives out a turkey to each employee so that every family gets to enjoy an amazing Thanksgiving meal with their loved ones. We are so incredibly blessed to work for such a thoughtful and caring company! Let the holiday festivities begin!

Holiday Food, Toy and Clothing Drives

For the 2023 holiday season, Competition Auto Group was honored to continue to partner with various organizations around Long Island to help our local community. All of our dealerships hosted their own Food Drive with Long Island Cares, to help families facing food insecurity, and Hope House Ministries, to collect new, gently used and/or clean coats/jackets and blankets to help those in need stay warm during the cold months ahead. Across all of our dealerships, Competition Auto Group was able to humbly donate 1,248 lbs of non-perishable donations!

Competition Auto Group was also wordlessly proud to support both EJ’S PJs and Angels of Long Island for the third holiday season in a row. Thank you so much to everyone who had helped us gift the gift of the holiday season by donating food, new pajamas, new and unwrapped toys, electronics, dolls, and gift cards for children of all ages! We are so fortunate to be able to have the selfless opportunity to give back to the community that we are so proud to be a part of!

Thank you so much to everyone who has whole-heartedly gotten involved in our philanthropic fun and stopped by St. James to donate! As we accept a plethora of new toys and cozy pajamas of all sizes for young Long Islanders, we would love to emphasize how grateful we are for our Competition Auto Family!

MBH Cars and Coffee Benefits Alternatives for Children

Mercedes-Benz of Huntington’s biggest event of the year took place this Columbus Day Weekend and was a huge hit! Cars of all kinds showed up to enjoy food by Uncle Giuseppe’s, a food truck by No Good Burger Truck, cookies by Specialty Sweets LI, music, raffles, giveaways, and so much more! The Competition Auto Group is proud to announce that we were able to raise $38,720 to support Alternatives for Children. We are so fortunate to have been able to host this community event for all to enjoy, and to help a local, amazing cause!

MBH Holiday Sales Event

Mercedes-Benz of Huntington had a holly-jolly good time at our Holiday Sales Event this December 9th! Customers enjoyed one-day only event specials, including amazing lease offers, low finance rates, payment waivers, incredible holiday giveaways such as a 65-inch smart-tv won by one of our wonderful customers, Lorraine, holiday pastries, and so much more! Subaru Motorsports Car Show with Bucky Lasek

On August 17th, 2023 Competition Subaru of Smithtown had the unbelievable opportunity to host our Subaru Motorsports Car Show with one very special guest, professional skateboarder and rallycross driver, Bucky Lasek! Vermont Sportscar brought their own impressive trailer and rallycross car, and our passionate General Manager, James, brought a rally car he acquired as well! Terry and Yaki, a local Halal food truck, brought tasty rice, salad, steak and tofu bowls, and a delicious ice cream truck ended the event even more sweetly!

Bucky had a blast meeting and greeting everyone, signing their genuine Subaru parts and Competition Subaru-supplied posters! Additionally, Bucky had brought and sold 100 signed skateboards for a great cause; a partial donation from all 100 skateboards went towards benefiting Paws of War, a local non-profit dedicated to returning overseas furry-friends back to their brave veteran owners! After saying hello to our Competition Subaru Family, Bucky took a walk around our dealership to check out everyone’s vehicles before we announced the car show winner! Congratulations to our winner, Nick, we hope he had an amazing time at our event and has enjoyed his official Subaru Igloo Cooler as well as one of the signed skateboards from Bucky Lasek ever since! Subaru Loves Pets Pet Adoption Event and Costume Contest

Competition Subaru of Smithtown celebrated #SubaruLovesPets with Pawsitive Possibilities Rescue, Inc., and hosted the cutest Pet Adoption Event as well as Pet Costume Contest at our dealership on October 22nd, 2023! With delicious pup-corn (popcorn) for all, waived adoption fees, $100 per pet adopted going towards the Subaru Loves Pet Charity, everyone in attendance at a tail-waggingly exciting time! We cannot thank everyone enough for bringing generous donations for all sizes of furry friends, everyone involved is eternally grateful for our Competition Subaru Family’s benevolence! Thank you so much to Pawsitive Possibilities Rescue, Inc., for bringing the most adorable new friends- we are proud to help find 12 furry friends their fur-ever home on Long Island, New York!

Subaru’s Black Saturday Sales Event 

Competition Subaru of Smithtown held their awesome Black Saturday Sales Event this past November 25th! Customers enjoyed giveaways and exclusive one-day only offers on our stunning fleet of Subaru vehicles while enjoying crisp, local apple cider and fresh apple cider donuts! Excitedly, customers also received the coolest genuine OEM Subaru swag bag when purchasing an awesome vehicle from our friendly staff!

Electric Sprinters Arriving Soon!

The all-new eSprinter will be arriving to Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown this February! For the first time in the U.S , customers can make their whole fleet eco-friendly and sustainable! The eSprinter will feature up to a 113 kWh battery capacity, and a max range of 248 miles/ 400km. We are so excited to continue our evolution towards a greener future for everyone!

Competition BMW is proud to have sponsored the 9th Annual Port Jefferson Dragon Boat Race Festival on September 16th, 2023 at the Port Jefferson Harbor! We had an amazing and informative booth with our staff where local Long Islanders and Dragon Boat fans were able to fully explore the brand-new, innovative BMW X7! Competition BMW of Smithtown hosted an incredibly successful Cars & Coffee event on Sunday. September 3rd, 2023 with an amazing local Long Island BMW community, Long Island Bimmer to honor and benefit the King Fights Cancer Foundation! Long Island Bimmer brought a plethora of amazing friends and stunning vehicles, the Lunchbox Food Truck brought delicious food, Tend Coffee, a St. James coffee shop, brought scrumptious Long Island Coffee, Face Painting by Tara Rose, @faceandbodyartbytararose on Instagram, brought even more fun by painting all of our lovely patrons! On Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 Competition BMW hosted our BMW i5 Premiere Event. With the brand-new, first-ever BMW i5 on display, delicious finger foods, cool refreshments, official BMW giveaways and an informative speech delivered eloquently by Mohammad, our amazing Sales Manager, everyone in attendance had a great time meeting the next-gen BMW i5! The Buzzetta Family and Competition Auto Group were proud to celebrate Mike Demeo, the general Manager of Competition INFINITI, as he celebrated his 30-year anniversary at our dealership in Smithtown, New York! It was so heart-warming to witness the generosity of the Buzzetta Family as Mike was gifted with a beautiful watch and catered lunch for the entire dealership as a gesture of gratitude!
