Stony Brook Fire Department

The Stony Brook Fire Department is a group of volunteer firefighters, proudly serving the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, New York. Since its inception in 1907, the department has grown to include over 100 devoted and active members. Their noble responsibility entails promptly responding to fire, medical, and rescue calls throughout the town, ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents. They operate from two strategically located fire stations, Station 1 on Main Street in Stony Brook and Station 2 on Stony Brook Road in Setauket, the department is well-equipped to handle emergencies efficiently. It’s our privilege to serve and support our community’s well-being.

Empire State Ride To End Cancer

 The Empire State Ride to End Cancer is an inspiring and remarkable event, spanning seven days and covering over 500 miles of scenic terrain from Staten Island to Niagara Falls. This extraordinary bike ride is organized by the esteemed Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, a renowned institution at the forefront of cancer research and treatment in Buffalo, New York. Year after year, the Empire State Ride draws in a diverse and passionate community of participants, with thousands of people joining in from all corners of the world. The age range of riders spans from 18 to 80, showcasing the event’s inclusivity and appeal to people of all generations. We are delighted to extend our support and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

St. Patrick’s Church

The Church of St. Patrick in Huntington, NY, stands as a vibrant and historic parish, tracing its roots back to 1848, making it the oldest Catholic church in the area. The Paige Elizabeth Keely Foundation

The Paige Elizabeth Keely Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2018 by Gina Keely, driven by the loving memory of her daughter, Paige. At the age of 6, Paige tragically lost her life due to an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) of the brain. Fueled by this devastating loss, the foundation’s core mission centers on increasing awareness of AVMs and advocating for early detection. With a heartfelt commitment to effecting positive change in the lives of those impacted by AVMs, the foundation actively works to shed light on this condition’s importance and the urgency of early identification. For Our Friends Dog Rescue

For Our Friends Rescue is a non-profit organization driven by a passionate team of volunteers, fully committed to rescuing dogs facing urgent and vulnerable situations in the NYC/Long Island area. Their heartfelt mission revolves around providing a lifeline to dogs in need, including strays, owner surrenders, and those at risk within municipal shelters. Since its founding, For Our Friends Rescue has made an incredible impact, rescuing and saving the lives of over 10,000 dogs. Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a heartwarming non-profit organization dedicated to providing a comforting refuge for families with seriously ill children. With a global presence, RMHC operates over 380 Ronald McDonald Houses and 265 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms across 60 countries and regions. Throughout the year, Help Mrs. Claus receives heartfelt letters from children living in poverty or facing various hardships. The organization then matches these children with compassionate volunteers, who take it upon themselves to shop for and beautifully wrap the gifts. EJ’s PJ’s Pajama Drive

EJ’s PJs is a local Long Island non-profit organization that has been spreading love and acceptance through donation drives since 2011. Founded by Patricia Poggi and her three sons, Edward, Patrick, and Jeremy, the organization’s selfless dedication shines bright as they make every day an opportunity to bring joy and comfort, especially during the holidays. Scenic America

Scenic America is a non-profit organization with a national initiative to protect and restore America’s scenic beauty since 1972. Academy Volleyball Golf Outing & Hall of Fame Dinner

The Academy Volleyball Golf Outing & Hall of Fame Dinner is an annual event that raises funds for Academy Volleyball, a non-profit organization that provides volleyball training and instruction to boys and girls in the Long Island area. The event includes a golf tournament, dinner, and a ceremony honoring inductees into the Academy Volleyball Hall of Fame. The tournament is a 18-hole scramble, followed by a buffet-style dinner. The Hall of Fame ceremony recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to Academy Volleyball. This event serves as a wonderful opportunity to support a great organization and enjoy a day of golf and camaraderie. We are honored to be part of the positive change and contribute to a stronger and more vibrant community.

 

TJ Kelly Memorial Scholarship

The TJ Kelly Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship awarded to graduating seniors who exemplify the qualities of TJ Kelly, such as a passion for swimming, dedication to community service, and commitment to academic excellence. This scholarship is made possible through the TJ Kelly Memorial Fund, established by TJ’s family following his passing in 2017. TJ was an accomplished swimmer who competed at MIT in college and was deeply involved in volunteer work with Special Olympics and Make-A-Wish Foundation. His impact on young people and the community was profound. We are devoted to making a positive impact and are eager to witness the lasting effects of our efforts.

Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk

Since its founding in 1952, Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk has remained deeply connected to the community it serves, embodying a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional health care with a compassionate and charitable spirit. Over the years, they have continued to expand its reach and impact, making an impressive 80,000 home visits annually and caring for nearly 2,500 home healthcare patients and 700 healthcare patients each year. There’s many opportunities to support them and help them make a difference every day.

 

Angela’s House

Angela’s House is a heartwarming non-profit organization that offers vital coordination of complex home care services and residential care for medically fragile children. Founded in 1992 by Angela and John DiMarco, who drew inspiration from their own son’s diagnosis of a rare medical condition, the organization has since been a beacon of hope and support for families facing similar challenges. At the core of their mission, Angela’s House provides compassionate and comprehensive care, ensuring that medically fragile children receive the specialized attention and services they require to thrive. Their dedication extends beyond the children themselves, as they actively support and uplift families during these difficult times. We are honored to be a part of the foundation of our community and to contribute to its growth and success.

 

Saint Catherine of Sienna

Saint Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church is a historic parish church nestled in Rockville Centre. With its origins dating back to 1906, the present-day church building was erected in 1924, showcasing its rich heritage. Embracing a vibrant parish community, Saint Catherine of Sienna offers a diverse range of religious and social programs to cater to the needs of its congregation. With a strong school system, the church places great emphasis on education, nurturing young minds in both academics and faith. The Townwide Fund of Huntington

Founded with a shared vision of helping those in need within the community, The Townwide Fund of Huntington has been a pillar of support for local charities since its establishment in 1961. Through unwavering dedication and the collective efforts of caring Huntington residents, the fund has raised an impressive sum of over 12 million dollars to date. Their remarkable achievements have empowered them to provide vital assistance to numerous local health and human service organizations, ensuring that these crucial entities have the necessary resources to aid the residents of Huntington. We are incredibly proud to help such a passionate team of volunteers who are dedicated to helping others and improving the future of our community one day at a time.

Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots is a program organized by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, dedicated to bringing joy to children during the holiday season. Established in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks, a reservist with a compassionate vision, the program aims to ensure that every child experiences the magic of Christmas, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. The program operates by collecting new, unwrapped toys from generous donors, and then distributing these gifts to children in need through a network of local organizations. Through this powerful initiative, Toys for Tots brings smiles to the faces of countless children, brightening their Christmas celebrations. We are grateful for the support of our community and we are committed to continuing our work to make a difference.

The Arthur and William J. Pace Memorial Golf Outing is an annual event dedicated to supporting Angela’s House, a non-profit organization that provides crucial care and services for medically fragile children. Held at the picturesque Nissequogue Golf Club, the event serves as a meaningful way to raise funds to fulfill “Everyday Wishes” for the children and families in need. The St. James Calderone Theatre nestled in St. James, New York, is a cherished landmark with a remarkable past. Built in 1925 by the Calderone family, who owned a chain of movie theaters, the theater quickly became a vibrant hub for entertainment, hosting an array of performances, including vaudeville shows, movies, and concerts. During the 1960s, the theater found a new purpose as a television studio for the local CBS affiliate, adding to its colorful legacy. However, as the years passed, the Calderone Theatre fell into disrepair, facing the threat of demolition in the 1980s.
