Mercedes-Benz USA has announced the limited time release of the 2023 Mercedes-Benz G 63 4×4, “that can’t get more G than this!” What immediately sets this vehicle apart from the rest of the fleet in the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is the combination of the single suspension of the front and portal axles. This addition makes the 2023 G 63 4×4 appear as huge and extraordinary as its silhouette warns. To paint a clear picture, this 2023 G 63 giant is permanently all-wheel drive, has ground clearance of 13.8 inches, which is 4.3 inches more in comparison to the 2022 Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and has 10.5 more inches of body length as well. An AMG V8 Twin Turbo engine ties everything together with 585 horses to emphasize this heart-stopping menace as truly one of a kind. The Mercedes-Benz G 63 4×4 pushes every single boundary and is the most customizable Mercedes-AMG® G-Class special model ever! There are 40 different paint options for this vehicle, ranging from Green Hell Magno to Hyacinth Red Magno, to many, many more. This vehicle refuses to compromise in any sort of way and is indescribably stunning and impressive. There are new, exclusive features in this 2023 Mercedes-Benz G-Class as well. Mercedes-Benz takes the luxurious ambient lighting element and amplifies it. The designers of this 4×4 G-Class decided to extend the already jaw-dropping ambient lighting feature by inputting LED lights into the interior air vents of the vehicle. The designers did not stop there, an exclusive feature of this aggressive 2023 G-Class is the special start-up welcome message found on the dashboard; this welcome screen was developed specifically for the Mercedes-Benz G 63 4×4 and can only be found and displayed in this stunning vehicle! Another feature is the Digital Interior Mirror, which lends the driver a “perfect view” of the back of the vehicle. While looking at the cabin of the vehicle, this model includes a grab handle on the glovebox with the special G 63 4×4 engraving. This grab handle reminds customers that the manufacturing came directly from the G Manufaktur program. The previously mentioned Green Hell Magno paint option serves as a tribute to Nürburgring’s Nordschleife. This is in reference to the infamous Northern track, Nürburgring, the full Nordschleife racetrack is only used for selected racing events now. The Nürburgring track was first described as “the Green Hell” by Jackie Stewart. Jackie Stewart is one of the most successful Formula 1 champions in history, with more than 27 race wins and 3 championship wins. Sir. Stewart’s track record is impressive to say the least, and we are not just talking behind the wheel. Jackie Stewart helped introduce full-face helmets and seatbelts for drivers, assisted in developing the Grand Prix medical travel unit, and successfully campaigned for safety barriers and greater runoff areas on dangerous turns (which protects both the drivers and the attendants of the races.) He has recently created a foundation to strive to cure Dementia, a disease that is close to his heart. Sir. In 1968 I won there by over four minutes in thick fog and rain where you could hardly see the road. That race should never have been held, and having won it by such a big margin gave me more credibility when I demanded safety improvements.” Mercedes-Benz was searching for a paint name that helps convey the aggressiveness and lack of compromise that the 2023 Mercedes-Benz G 63 4×4 delivers, and the Green Hell Magno paint seemed perfectly fitting. Jackie Stewart was a rockstar both on and off the track, and served as an advocate on behalf of drivers and fans in the name of safety. Despite the backlash he received at the time, his worries and solutions clearly stemmed from his overt passion for the sport and its participants. In 2001, Jackie Stewart received a knighthood for all of his compassionate and life-changing contributions to the motorsports genre. It has been stated that this iconic vehicle is likely the “last of its kind” due to the expansion and push for electric-powered vehicles and their positive impact on the health of the Earth. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS from Mercedes-EQ has been awarded the Best Electric Car by Robb Report for 2022. As the first fully electric luxury sedan from Mercedes-EQ, this is a huge accolade. As previously stated, this is the first edition of electric luxury sedans from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-EQ, receiving this award emphasizes a job well researched, designed, engineered and executed. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS from Mercedes-EQ is an innovative masterpiece with S-Class details on every inch of this electric vehicle. The luxuriousness and electromobility of this vehicle does not compromise power and agility. There even is an option to activate the self-opening door feature! With a maximum of 516 digital horses that can go 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, it is clear as to why the Robb Report decided to grant the Best Electric Car for 2022 award to Mercedes-EQ. Versatility is not only found within the engine, but within the cargo space as well! This fully electric sedan has 22 cubic feet of cargo space and a whopping 63 cubic feet of storage with the rear seats folded downwards. This is nearly triple of amount of cargo space that is usually found with the 3 rear seats folded as available seating. The BMW brand has landed the number one spot as the most-shopped luxury car brand for the first quarter of 2022. BMW had taken this top spot for the past 11 out of 12 quarters, INFINITI beat BMW at the last second in the last quarter of 2021. However, BMW beat out INFINITI once again, regaining the #1 spot as per Kelley Blue Book and also the hearts of our customers! BMW’s consideration percentage increased a point from the final quarter of 2021 to the first quarter of 2022. 21% of luxury car shoppers considered purchasing a BMW in the first quarter of 2022! Competition BMW is happy to report that there was a 37% increase in shopping for our 5 Series sedan, and a 7% increase of customers shopping for our 3 Series. The BMW 5 Series and 3 Series were not done taking crowns, both of these vehicles were included on the Top 5 Luxury Cars List for Q1 of 2022. The 5 Series took home second place, the 3 Series took home 3rd place out of 5. For the first time ever, BMW was crowned number 1 in Driving Performance. This milestone dethroned both Porsche and Tesla. This accolade that BMW was awarded is well-deserved, with impressive vehicles and specs on every model and trim level. Highlighting the specs on both the 5 Series models and the 3 Series models will cosign Kelley Blue Book’s conclusion (although a test-drive in one of these award-winning vehicles will do the same, but instead of on your computer, you’ll have your foot on the gas, your hands on the wheel, and a huge smile on your face!) *European model shown* The BMW 5 Series is just as versatile as it is popular. The core models, the BMW 330i and 330i xDrive are described as compact sports sedans, “style with serious pedigree” by BMWUSA. The BMW 3 Series has engines similar to the 5 Series: 2 liter, 4 cylinder engines. However, these base vehicles from BMW combine a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control and high-precision direct injection. The electrified 330e and 330e xDrive are described as an “iconic sports sedan” by BMWUSA, with innovative electric components. The BMW 330e piggybacks the core model’s motor specs from the amount of liters and cylinders to the twin-scroll turbocharger and direct injection, but the electrified models vary slightly. The BMW 330e and 330e xDrive now includes an eDrive 107 mph electric motor as well. The BMW M model, the BMW M3, is BMW’s “action-packed sedan.” The BMW M model is speedy to say the least as the M in “M model” stands for motorsports. BMWUSA states that “excitement knows no bounds in this extreme sports sedan…BMW M engineering levels up every drive.” The BMW M3 can go from 0-60 mph in as little as 3.4 seconds. This is due to the massive power of it’s engine, a 3 liter inline 6 cylinder BMW M TwinPower Turbo engine.  A simple glance at the gorgeous bodystyle and specs of the BMW M3 brings clarity as to why it was one of the most shopped luxury vehicles for the quarter. At this point, it is no surprise that BMW has the most amount of models on the Top 10 List of the Most-Shopped Vehicles for the first quarter of 2022. The aforementioned 5 Series was ranked at 6th, the 3 Series was ranked 8th, and the BMW X5 was ranked 9th. This feat is impressive as the majority of the vehicles on the list were SUVS, 7 out of 10 vehicles were SUVs. One of the many SUVs on the list was our very own SAV, the BMW X5! Mercedes- Benz of Smithtown is proud to announce their partnership with the McNamara Charity Golf Group. This fundraiser has been helping benefit veteran charities, veterans and their families for over 12 years. Many have experienced major financial setbacks with Covid in the last two years. This cause hits close to home for the strong veteran himself. Christopher T. McNamara has served in the U.S. Air Force. His family is deeply rooted through generations in the military service. Learning from his own experience as well as his family, McNamara knows how fortunate it is to make it home after being in service. Though this is something to be happy about, many come home with physical life changing injuries as well as invisible traumas that stay with them everyday that can’t be fixed with a cast like a broken arm. Internal Traumas that are life changing. Through this, it is common for many of these men and women to suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI). No one will ever know what these brave veterans have seen or experienced during their time in service. After their return many find it hard to come back to normal life or the life they once knew, without having memories or flashbacks of these traumatic times. This is the perfect opportunity to show your support for those that sacrificed so much for our freedom. Veterans have been provided with service dogs rescued from kill shelters. This is a great way to save two lives. The care for these precious pups is covered for life by mobile vans “Paws of War”. Disabled veterans are also provided with Action Trackchairs, which allow them the liberty of enjoying the outdoors and getting a bit of fresh air. The reinvention of the iconic Mercedes-AMG® SL has been the talk of every driver on Long Island since it’s unveiling yesterday on the Mercedes-AMG® Youtube Channel. Seen as a symbol of performance and luxury for ages, this new seventh-generation debut is shaking things up with some dramatic changes. Let’s start under the hood and the vehicle’s appearances. The new 2022 AMG® SL will be offered in SL 55 and SL 63 variants, both with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8, with an estimated 0-60 MPH time of 3.8 and 3.5 seconds for the SL 55 and 63 respectively. This all sounds great but the biggest surprise is that for the first time ever, the new SL 55 and 63 will include standard 4 MATIC+, the Mercedes-Benz and AMG® name for all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and adaptive dampers, making the vehicle not only sporty, but also practical. The four-wheel steering allows for the sporty roadster to cut it’s turning radius by about two and a half feet, while the adaptive damping gives added stability. Additionally, an optional front-axle lift system can raise the front of the car by 1.2 inches. With an included software that allows the vehicle to remember location such as your steep driveway, the low exit coming out of the Shopping Centers on Jericho Turnpike, and more, the convertible can activate this function automatically. Now that we know the new SL 55 and 63 can pack a punch, let’s get to arguably the most important part, is the car aesthetically pleasing? In our books, yes. The redesigned SL-Class is one of the most beautiful releases we have seen from Mercedes-Benz and AMG® these past few years. Can you blame us? The alluring red color in the release trailer was nothing if not eye-catching! With a shark-like design, this new release is aggressive and sporty looking. The car is 185.2 inches long and its wheelbase is 5 inches longer than its predecessor. With a smoother, rounder appearance, the wide Panamericana Front Grille Looks especially stunning. Perhaps more so with triangular LED headlights that perfectly contract the smooth, flowing lines of the overall design! This new release will also be available in many paint colors such as matte options, a bright teal “Hyper Blue”, and much more, making it truly customizable. Similar to the all new 2021 S-Class, shown in one of our newest Youtube videos featured on our channel, and available at our dealership, the body looks extra sleek with flush door handles. One bigger feature that many are excited about is the return of the soft-top on the SL 55 and SL 63. The top gives the vehicle a lighter weight by 46 pounds, making the vehicle more gas-efficient than before. According to the debut, the top is also said to be able to open and close in 15 seconds up to 37 MPH. With all of these new features, plus the 20 or 21 inch wheels, the SL-Class is sure to please the eye. This convertible Mercedes-Benz is a prize both inside and out. Unlike most Mercedes-Benz vehicles near you at this time, the digital instrument cluster and large center touchscreen are separate entities, instead of spanning across one sizable piece of glass as people are most used to seeing with the MBUX System. Drivers will be able to adjust the center touchscreen’s angle to help reduce glare from 12 to 32 degrees when necessary. Isn’t that helpful? The turbine style air vents also add a nice touch in making the vehicle have a few standout points that define the interior as “hyper analog”. Using high quality and sustainably sourced materials throughout, you can tell this vehicle was made for the greats.
