Mercedes-Benz Vans Partners with Goodr Founder Jasmine Crowe-Houston as First-Ever eSprinter Brand Ambassador

At Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown’s Competition Auto Group, we’re proud to celebrate an exciting partnership that combines sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility. Mercedes-Benz Vans USA has teamed up with Jasmine Crowe-Houston, the founder and CEO of Goodr, to name her the first-ever eSprinter brand ambassador. This collaboration highlights our shared commitment to eco-friendly transportation solutions and hunger relief efforts across the nation.

In this groundbreaking partnership, Goodr—a leader in waste management and hunger solutions—will leverage the all-new Mercedes-Benz eSprinter to expand its mission of fighting food waste and hunger. As part of this effort, Mercedes-Benz Vans USA delivered the first refrigerated eSprinter Cargo Van to Goodr, custom-fitted by Thermo King of Charleston. This emission-free vehicle is designed to help Goodr sustainably deliver surplus food to underserved communities, aligning perfectly with their mission.

The Mercedes-Benz eSprinter’s versatility and CO2-emission-free operation make it ideal for various industries, including urban logistics and food transport. With impressive cargo capacity and cutting-edge connectivity, it’s a leader in electric mobility.

Founded in 2017, Goodr has made a name for itself by using innovative technology to rescue surplus food and provide meals to those in need. In just the past year, Goodr diverted over 1.3 million pounds of waste from landfills, preventing more than 700,000 pounds of carbon emissions.

The partnership with Mercedes-Benz will help Goodr continue its impactful work, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions for its charitable partners.
