The 2021 Audi RS7 Sportback Vs. 2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe Vs.2021 Mercedes-AMG GT63S

The sleek and super sporty four-door 2020 BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe, 2021 Audi RS7 Sportback, and 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT63 S hit the road to compete for top honors.

Car and Driver shares with us the similarities and comparisons between the 2021 Audi RS7, 2020 BMW M8, and the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT63S. These vehicles are crafted with a version of a narrow-eyed performance-car glare, a dropped roofline, and a sloping tail. Each model is equipped with all-wheel drive, adaptive dampers, brake rotors, and twin-turbo V-8 at least 4.0 liters.

The GT63 makes the top of the list for both power and price with 630 horsepower at $199,910 as-tested price. The M8 is priced at $167,245 for 617 ponies. The least expensive is the RS7 which is priced at $137,540 with 591 horsepower.

BMW M8 Compétition Gran Coupe 

The BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe’s best qualities include quick start, quick stops, and an adolescently ferocious rear-wheel-drive setting. Although the BMW M8 can go 2.7- seconds 60-mph time and 10.8-second quarter-mile it would still come in behind against the GT63 but the M8’s all-out acceleration times beat the RS7’s.  The M8 is very well equipped with a big touchscreen, carbon-fiber trim, quilt leather, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated adjustable steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, adaptive cruise control, a menu of driver’s aids, and a more expansive menu of the aforementioned performance-mode options. 

Mercedes-AMG  GT63 S

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 s qualities include steering, braking, and engine roar. The GT63 is the loudest of the group and can go 70 mph. With the loudest tires – wide Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s, can hold on to the skidpad with 1.05g’s. The GT63 can also go 2.6-second time to 60 mph and a 10.7-second quarter-mile with 129-mph trap speed beating both the Audi and the BMW. This vehicle is equipped with a visually and physically appealing interior. The rear seat offers much more space than the Audi or BMW. The steering and automatic transmission are very responsive. The car feels extremely light when going at its full potential. 

Audi RS7 Sportback

The RS7 best qualities include serene ride, extremely fast, and massive cargo space. Its interior is cushioned with 14-way leather seats creating a smooth ride. It has a skid pad score of 0.98 g and can dead stop to freeway speed in 3.0 seconds. The RS7 has the largest cargo area out of the three holding the most carry-on-sized boxes in the test. It is the perfect balance of sportiness and luxury.
