  • Charging: Requires external charging via a home outlet or public charging station.

  • Electric Range: Most models offer 30–50 miles of electric driving—ideal for short commutes or local trips.

  • Ideal For: Drivers who can charge at home or work and want the flexibility of both electric and gasoline power.

  • Cost: Generally higher in price due to the larger battery and dual-power setup.

Mild-Hybrid systems don’t offer all-electric driving but improve fuel efficiency and performance by supporting the gasoline engine. They’re best for those who prioritize convenience and lower cost without the need to plug in.

Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) systems, by contrast, provide electric-only capability for everyday drives while keeping gas power for longer journeys. They’re ideal for drivers with regular access to charging who want to experience the benefits of electric mobility with the security of extended range.
